Dr. Jan Fitzgerald-Soapes, MD, FAAP

Jan Fitzgerald Soapes is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She is a graduate of the Medical College of
Georgia and received her pediatric training at New York University. She is a founding partner of Children’s Medicine P.C.

Dr. Soapes was elected the first woman president of the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She also received “The Atlanta Woman of Distinction Award” from the Colitis and Crohn’s Foundation. Nationally she has served on the editorial board of Pediatrics News.
    
She and her husband Jim have four grandchildren, Chandler, Kandes, Jacob and Jackson. She loves spending time with her family, her church Rehoboth and her horse Ebony.
